Celebrate the closing party for International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB 2016) with an evening of glitter, glamour and colourful celebration of popular Indian dance styles, Bollywood and Bhangra.
This lively party features special guest comperes, DJs, live performances from The Dhol Blasters, Bollywood Dreams, and Nachda Sansaar along with delicious Indian Street food from Taste ‘n’ Liquor.
Dance the night away on the Hub’s dancefloor to classic Bollywood and Bhangra hits. Our dance ambassadors will be sharing their bespoke Desi Grooves Bollywood and Bhangra routines on the night. Join professional dancers and partygoers for a Desi-themed dance-off!
The evening will also feature a Bollywood Beauty, Henna and Bindi stalls to really get you in the Desi mood!

- Age Guidance: 12+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The Festival Hub is based in the Municipal Bank Building on Broad Street, Centenary Square (opposite the Library of Birmingham).

- IDFB’s FREE DESI GROOVES FAMILY DAY 2016 (at the Festival Hub earlier that day, from midday) is offering FREE drop-in craft and dance workshops, including a chance to learn the IDFB Bollywood and Bhangra dance routines from their community ambassadors, Bollywood Dreams and Nachda Sansaar. Craft workshops will be led by Women Empowering Women’s Groups from Hodge Hill, Birmingham.
- You can also get some practice in before the Desi Grooves party by learning the routine at one of the special IDFB themed dance classes!
