A free monthly series presenting music from India to uplift the spirit on Saturday lunchtimes.

Escape the hurly-burly, as once a month sampad and Town Hall, Symphony Hall present outstanding Asian artists from the UK and the Indian subcontinent in relaxed, informal sessions. Chill out, take your shoes off, close your eyes and experience the richness and variety of India’s musical heritage.

This month features explosive live performer Rekesh Chauhan accompanied by internationally renowned tabla player Sanju Sahai.

Breakthrough artist Rekesh performs Indian Classical music on both the Piano and Guitar. His music combines both Western and Indian styles and continues to make a huge impact on the new generation of contemporary world music listeners.

Sanju has performed throughout India, UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA. He has performed for Her Majesty the Queen as well as for Prince Charles at Highgrove. His recent concert venues include London’s Royal Albert Hall where he participated at the 100th anniversary of the proms.
