We are thrilled to welcome the choir to the city for the first time, when they will be brilliantly led by renowned musical duo Ashit and Hema Desai. The afternoon will feature some of the best Indian songs and music from the past few decades and the beautiful sounds of the choir will linger in your memory for a very long time. Be sure not to miss this very special event!

Please  note that because of half-term holidays that you may not be able to book tickets via the Ruddock by phone but you can still book online here or just turn up and buy tickets at the door before the performance.

Ashit Desai

Ashit Desai is well-known for his rich baritone voice as a singer, and as well as for his talents as a composer and arranger. He regularly produces scores for dramas, dance ballets, TV serials and films.

Sitar Maestro Pt Ravi Shankar enlisted Ashit to compose music for the Asiad (also known as the Asian Games, a pan-continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia) and placed him in charge of overall coordination of cultural events which led to him being conferred with the coveted Asiad Jyoti Medal, which was presented by Indian President.
