Raghu Dixit

Victoria Square, Birmingham, B3 3DQ

Raghu Dixit showcases his new album along with favourites from his debut.

Raghu is a singer-songwriter with a mission, a one-time scientist who gave up a highly successful career in Europe to return to India to create a new style of his own, which he describes as “Indian folk-rock, with world rhythms creeping in”.

Winner of the Songlines Newcomer Award 2011, he is busy working on a second album featuring songs in Kannada, Hindi, English and Tamil.

He visits Town Hall to showcase the new album along with favourites from his debut.
