Writers read their entries in Journeys a collection of short stories and poems, with a dance performance inspired by the book.

Journeys, a collection of writings, short stories and poems submitted as part of an international writing competition, will be presented this evening.

The competition, run by sampad, invited writers from, or connected to the South Asian diaspora to write in any style, using the theme of journeys as a starting point.

sampad received entries from across the UK and around the globe, from Staffordshire to Kolkata, Australia to Nigeria.

This evening there will be readings from the book by the writers and a short dance performance by Anusha Subramanyam inspired by Journeys.
