Sampad's ground breaking community heritage project My Route will be extending its legacy during Birmingham Heritage Week during September 2016.
Birmingham Heritage Week is a celebration of the people and events which helped shape the city as we know it today. Taking place throughout the city 8 -18th September, it features an action-packed programme of events and activities designed to give people of all ages a chance to learn about and celebrate Birmingham’s rich and diverse heritage.
This includes exploring parts of the Birmingham not normally open to the public, finding out about the history of key city landmarks and taking part in walks, concerts, talks, shows and trails…which gives you another great reason to do the My Route Heritage Trail Walk around Birmingham’s Stratford Road – one of the city’s biggest and most interesting thoroughfares!

Birmingham Heritage Week coincides with Heritage Open Days (8 – 11 Sept 2016), the UK’s biggest heritage festival.
