A wonderful, informal opportunity to discuss themes presented in Adeela Suleman’s exhibition, Allegory of War. Host Sabra Khan (Executive Director, Sampad) is joined by writer Abda Khan and dancer Anaya Bolar as they respond to the exhibition through poetry and choreography. Accompanied by a nice cup of chai.
Internationally acclaimed artist Adeela Suleman is known for her works exploring social and political issues, particularly the links between historic and contemporary violence experienced in her home city Karachi, Pakistan. Allegory of War is her most comprehensive solo exhibition at a public gallery in the UK.
