The quest for a home is eternal. To some it’s a refuge and to a lot of us it’s probably the nest we all want to belong to.

This short film is about that search and the journey to get home.

Inspired by a poem by Arundhati Subramaniam, Home is about women sharing their ecstasies and uncertainties through a string of images and conversations that builds up and deconstructs the verse.

AFter the film, there will be a Q and A  with Dharmesh Rajput, Head of Birmingham Indian Film Festival – where we will welcome questions from the audience.

Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee is an interdisciplinary artist, specialising in spoken words and theatre. He is currently touring the UK shooting a feature film and performing at prestigious arts festivals.
