Jyotsna Srikanth is a British-Indian violinist and composer who has frequently explored the crossover between Indian music and other genres including jazz, Irish folk, electronica, flamenco, blues, pop, Western classical and Bollywood music.

She has performed at many major global music events including WOMAD and the BBC Proms and played violin for nearly 200 Indian films, under musical directors such as Ilayaraja. Her playing is known for its effective blend of ‘bhava’ (musical expression and emotion) and fingering technique.

‘Interlaced’ combines Indian classical music with a contemporary audio-layering, including jazz and folk elements.
