Escape the hurly-burly, as sampad and Town Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham present outstanding Asian artists from the UK and the Indian subcontinent in relaxed, informal sessions.Chill out, take your shoes off, close your eyes and experience the richness and variety of India’s musical heritage…

Growing a reputation for making music that is intricate, energising and beautiful, flux are a band made up of six incredibly versatile musicians; Shammi Pithia, Preetha Narayanan, Michael Goodey, Salima Barday, Suroj Sureshbabu and Ian Newton-Grant, who play instruments ranging from Piano to Bansuri, Double Bass to Cajon, and Violin to Synths.

Having performed at venues such as Glastonbury Festival, London Southbank Centre and The National Portrait Gallery, flux are able to produce music that embodies their individual influences. They’ll be playing a unique rearranged acoustic, almost classical set.
