Funk, Soul, Indian classical and Blues unite with performance poetry and film to tell this unique story of discovery.

Funk, Soul, Indian classical and Blues unite with performance poetry and film to tell a unique story of discovery.

Four international performers, led by Britain’s rising young star, Soumik Datta, present this innovative and contemporary homage to Nobel Prize winning poet Rabindranath Tagore.

Separated by 150 years, a double narrative ties Tagore’s journeying through the West with Soumik’s own travels. Breaking space and time, the mirrored stories bring the two travellers together in a breathtaking finale.

Filled with anecdotes and exciting new music, this lively production will touch you, make you laugh and get your feet moving to spellbinding new compositions.
