Spoken word performance from one of the rising stars of British poetry
Siddhartha Bose is a writer, performer, and academic based in London. He grew up in Mumbai and Kolkata, followed by a seven year stint in the USA.
He trained as an actor, made short films, and is currently completing his first book of poetry, which has been selected for the major anthologies, City State: New London Poetry (Penned in the Margins, 2009) and Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century (Bloodaxe, 2009). A selection of his work has appeared in a special issue of The Literary Review (USA), edited by Sudeep Sen, which focuses on contemporary Indian poets from around the world. He was recently dubbed one of the ‘ten rising stars of British poetry’ by The Times (UK ).
