Latest update: 21 April 2020, 12pm
In these unprecedented times, we wanted to keep you up to date with Sampad’s plans. Like many other arts and cultural organisation, we are pausing a number of our performances and projects, including our 30th Anniversary celebration events.
We hope, in time, that our planned 30th events will take place, and to resume our other programmes and projects, but at present we have no timeframes for this.
So much of what Sampad does relies on human interaction and connection. We unfortunately feel that we cannot replicate this online or digitally for some of our upcoming projects and performances.
Many thanks for your understanding.
Update: 17 March 2020 4pm
Following the latest government advice, we are closing the Sampad offices and adapting our working arrangements.
From today, 17 March 2020, all Sampad staff will be working from home for the foreseeable future.
We have all the necessary tools stay in touch outside the usual office environment and continue working on future projects.
If we have meetings in the diary with you we’d like to keep them in online where possible – we have accounts on Microsoft Teams and Zoom. We can keep this under constant review as the situation develops.
If things develop further, with decisions such as school closures, we are all likely to be working unusual hours over the next few weeks, so please bear with us. We will get back to you soon.
Decisions on future events, and how they will be affected, will be addressed on a case by case basis and we will be following government advice:
Please also follow medical advice and guidance from the authorities.
Any questions please do get in touch. We hope to be back to normal as soon as possible!
With Best Wishes,
The Sampad Team
