Sampad Digital Bursary Call Out

Sampad South Asian Arts and Heritage has been at the forefront of and continuously proactive in supporting and developing South Asian artists and artistic practice in the UK over the past 3 decades, delivering high quality and well informed development programmes that have raised the profile, quality and diversity of South Asian arts.

We are really excited to launch the first of our 3 annual bursary awards for artists.

The Sampad Digital Arts Bursary is now open for applications. Open to any South Asian artist based in England* from any artistic field who is interested in exploring and using creative digital technology** in producing new artistic work. This bursary aims to support artists to foster innovation in South Asian arts.

*with a right to work in the UK

** We are interested in the use of creative digital technology in the creation of artistic work to be presented to audiences; for the purpose of this bursary this does not include screen dance or sharing via digital platforms eg live streaming work, podcasts etc.

Important Dates:

Deadline for submissions: 28^th July 2023

Interviews dates: 3^rd August 2023

We aim to let applicants know by August 10^th 2023 of our final decision
