Ujala – A Celebration of Diwali
October 2025
Suitable for age 7 and above.
Following on from the success of ‘Spirit of
Light’, this is a new interactive performance
which explores the stories and traditions
of Diwali through storytelling, dance and
music.
My Journey, My Birmingham
Theatre in Education

This TiE piece tells the imagined stories of people from the Dyche collection – an archive of images of
people who migrated to Birmingham after
World War 2.
Lori – A World of Lullabies
January–April 2026
An interactive performance for 2-6 year olds.
This is a 40 minute interactive storytelling and movement performance using lullaby music from South Asia.
Each school will be given a CD and Lori
picture book following our visit.
From City of Empire to City of Diversity Exhibition and extensive online resources. Available to all Sampad Associate Schools.
Small enough to fit anywhere in the school, previous schools have displayed it in the hall, for all students to see on their lunch break.
