Artist Call-Out: Neel Akash
Neel Akash is an upcoming two-phase R&D project exploring the impact of the climate emergency on communities in Bangladesh and the Bangladeshi diaspora in Birmingham, UK.
This project is an artistic collaboration between Sampad and Bangladeshi dancer/choreographer Anandita Khan.
We are seeking an experienced artist with a specialism in theatre, spoken-word, or creative writing to work collaboratively to co-create an impactful artistic work that raises awareness of climate change and inspire action.
Disability Awareness and Inclusion Training for South Asian dance
As part of the Dance Leaders Group’s Art Form Inclusivity Programme, Sampad are leading a session designed for trained dancers and dance tutors. It will equip attendees with the knowledge and practical tools needed to develop their skills for working in mixed-ability and disability-inclusive settings.
Running 10am – 4pm on 25th July 2025, at Midlands Arts Centre. Bursaries are available, offering up to £100 to support you to attend.

Professional development has always been an important strand of Sampad’s work. By empowering people to strengthen their creative skills, we are helping to fuel the sector as a whole, so that it can progress and continue to move forward.
We have strong relationships with partner organisations in the UK, Europe and beyond and this enables us to offer some excellent training, skills development and placement opportunities, in a variety of interesting settings.
