Sampad are delighted today to announce 2 exciting events in our upcoming programme. Having started its life all the way back in 1998, Asian Spring is once again returning in March 2026. We are also thrilled to be welcoming the incredible Tribhangi Dance Theatre for a tour of UBUNTU (Humanity Towards Others).
Asian Spring is our annual showcase of South Asian dance. This edition will take place at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire‘s Bradshaw Hall on Sunday 22nd March 2026, 6pm. As always, the evening will be a true celebration, bringing together varied dance groups from across the Midlands to share the richness and diversity of South Asian cultures.

From the intricate footwork and expressive storytelling of Kathak to the lively, high-energy moves of Bhangra, Asian Spring has something for everyone. Tickets are available now, with an Early Bird offer available until the end of January 2026, giving you a 20% off. Click here to book.
March 2026 will also see Tribhangi Dance Theatre visit the UK from Johannesburg, South Africa. The last time this incredible company toured was over a decade ago. This is a rare opportunity to see a unique, striking performance.
Tribhangi combine the strong physicality of African dance with the grace of classical Indian Bharatanatyam, also incorporating colourful Afro-fusion and contemporary styles. UBUNTU, translating to ‘Humanity Towards Others’ will be a high energy production that celebrates global cultures.
