Lori at Scala Festival of Play, Worcester

Step into the magical world of Lori. A playful, interactive performance for younger children and families, using storytelling, dance and music.

Inspired by Sampad’s book of multi-lingual lullabies, families can now enjoy this live experience. Lori (Lullaby in Hindi) uses South Asian music and dance to transport you into a world of imagination.

Lori is is the perfect way for young children to explore and enrich their understanding of the world. This unique experience will entrance and engage, enhancing creative thinking through play, movement, music and language.

Lori performances are at 11am and 2pm.

Scala Festival of Play is a day-long festival (10am to 5pm) for children aged 3-10 and their families, with circus, aerial arts, gaming, dance, street games, drumming and visual arts, brought to you by Scala, Worcester’s newest arts venue, currently under development in Angel Place.

Festival goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy music on the grass behind The Arches.
