Renowned front-man of Bhangra band DCS, Shin Parwana performs a popular mix of Bollywood classics and Punjabi ghazals.
Shin is influenced by a wide variety of singers from around the world including Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ajoy Chakrobarty, and composer SD Burman, as well as western artists such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, James Brown, Elton John and The Jackson 5.
These wide and diverse influences have been thrown into the mix to help Shin create his distinct style of vocal delivery and music production which has become the trade mark sound of DCS, the global band that have received numerous international awards and accolades for their achievements in Bhangra music of which Shin is a founder member.
Joining Shin will be Priti Kaur, an acclaimed Indian vocalist whose repertoire ranges from Bollywood, Bhangra, and Folk.
