Once described as ‘the gateway of Birmingham’ has seen many migrants settle along it, due to its unique location and affordable housing. From the diverse communities, the memories of the people who lived here will be brought to life by our friendly walk leaders who will guide and talk through the road’s changing scene:

You will start at The Bordesley Centre and explore the stories of the migrants that came to call this place home. Learn about the famous Balti triangle as you venture through the bustling and lively atmosphere boasting numerous Pakistani and Indian grocers, fashion retailers, cafes and more.
