On 21st September, Shirley Park in Solihull will come alive with an exciting celebration of South Asian culture, brought to you by Sampad and The Core Theatre. With an incredible line-up of dance, music, and workshops for all ages, this free event promises a day filled with colour, rhythm, and joy.
The Day’s Line-up:
- Ultimate Bhangra: Join a lively workshop showcasing traditional Bhangra moves and the powerful beats of the dhol drum.
- Natasha Seth: Known from ‘The Voice’, Natasha will perform a mix of popular songs in English and Hindi.
- India Island Academy: This dynamic Bollywood dance group will take you on a thrilling journey through film with their performance.
- Devika Rao: Performing the classical Yakshagana dance, this group’s striking costumes and graceful moves will captivate audiences on stage and throughout the park.
- Sohan Kailey: Get ready to dance all day as Sohan mixes popular music with Bollywood and Bhangra beats.
- Mehndi Artist: Enjoy beautiful henna art from a talented Mehndi artist available throughout the event.
