Birmingham Light Festival – Floor is Lava X Silent Disco

The dance floor is heating up as we team up with Birmingham Light Festival 2025 

Sampad presents a special guest performance from India Island Academy at the Floor is LAVA X Silent Disco for Birmingham Light Festival.  Get ready to erupt with energy and join the party, as dancers from India Island ignite the dance floor with sizzling moves. Sampad will also be curating a channel on the silent disco, bringing you the best beats from Bhangra to Bollywood. 

Come down to Centenary Square for the ultimate silent disco experience, where you can dance, jump, and groove to your favourite party tunes, including a special channel curated by Sampad. Be careful though – every so often the track will change and the red lights will tell you DANGER! THE FLOOR IS LAVA! Move quickly and avoid the lights to stay in the Silent Disco. It’s the perfect mix of fitness, fun, and music for kids and adults alike – whether you’re dodging lava or simply vibing to the beats, you won’t want to miss this!

Birmingham Light Festival: 

From 19–22 Feb 2025, Birmingham Light Festival will transform a series of city centre locations into a spectacular gallery of illuminated artworks, in what will become an annual multi-day event. Encouraging Birmingham residents and visitors to explore and see the city in a different light, installations and artworks will bring the post-Christmas winter nights to life.

Aiming to create a sense of playful curiosity and spark joy, Birmingham Light Festival 2025 features 11 extraordinary artworks, all within walking distance of each other, encouraging visitors to come together and explore the city. 3 of the illuminated artworks will even remain in place after the festival, as we seek to brighten city centre spaces progressively over time. The Festival will be brought to life with an accompanying programme of events and offers.
