A play by Common Wealth. Written by Aisha Zia
Common Wealth and Contact present No Guts, No Heart, No Glory at Birmingham Repertory Theatre – a powerful piece of contemporary theatre about young, Muslim, female boxers determined to make something of their lives.
With a live electronic sound score, epic visual design, cinematic lighting and the energy of a club, this immersive show explores being young, fearless and doing the unexpected.
The STUDIO at The REP will be transformed into a boxing ring for this award-winning production, which was devised in collaboration with five young Muslim women and former national boxing champion Ambreen Sadiq.
