Unending Love – A Celebrating Age Programme
“I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…
In life after life, in age after age, forever.”
Inspired by Tagore’s poem of the same name, Unending Love sees Sampad & MAC Birmingham present artists from the Chaturangan Dance Theatre to present a varied programme of spoken word, visual arts, music, and dance to celebrate humanity and love through ages and generations.
This special programme is for people aged over 55 and takes place on Tuesday 20th July 2021 in the Foyle Studio at Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham. During the performance, a visual artist will also lead interactive craft activities, the results from which will become part of the performance display. On the day we will have experimental writers, musicians, composers, dancers and choreographers including Kali Chandrasegaram, Showmi Das, Ali Harwood, Jonathan Raisin, Bisakha Sarker and Karen Wynne.
