Sampad are looking for a small group of Culture Connectors to help champion our work and spread the word about our events, projects and opportunities within their communities.
As a Sampad Culture Connector, you’ll:
- Be among the first to hear about what’s coming up
- Receive invitations to our season launches
- Access complimentary tickets for selected Sampad landmark events
- Help connect more people with arts, culture and creativity
We’re looking for Birmingham residents aged 16 and over who are enthusiastic about Sampad’s work and who reflect the diversity of the communities we work with. As well as helping us spread the word, our ambassadors will play an important role in helping shape future activity by sharing ideas, feedback and suggestions for events and experiences that their communities would enjoy. Whether you’re 16 or 96, you’ll help champion Sampad’s work, share our stories and inspire others to connect with South Asian arts and heritage.
We know people are busy, so we’ve designed the Culture Connector programme to be flexible and easy to fit around other commitments. We expect the role to involve no more than a couple of hours across the year, including attending occasional events, sharing opportunities with your networks and providing feedback or ideas to help shape future activity.
