Doubling The Impact: Sampad’s Success in The Big Give Arts for Impact Campaign

We are thrilled to announce the successful collaboration between Sampad South Asian Arts and Heritage and The Big Give for the Arts for Impact campaign, held from March 19th to 26th, 2024. Our initial target was to raise £1000, with The Big Give generously offering to match it with an additional £1000.

The aim of this campaign was to support weekly movement and dance sessions for older South Asian individuals at a day care center in Balsall Heath. Led by professional dancers, these sessions cater to various mobility levels, providing participants with not just physical activity but also a sense of community and inclusivity.

The response to our campaign exceeded all expectations. Thanks to the incredible support from donors, we surpassed our target and reached a total of £2253.

Contributions will directly impact the well-being of older South Asian individuals in Balsall Heath, enriching their lives through the joy of movement and dance. These sessions play a vital role in combating social isolation and enhancing overall quality of life for the participants.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported this campaign, whether through donations or by spreading the word. Your involvement showcases the power of community and the arts in making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Sampad is grateful for the overwhelming support we received during The Big Give Arts for Impact campaign. This success underscores the transformative power of community-driven initiatives, showcasing the profound impact the arts can have on enhancing well-being and fostering inclusivity.
