Join Our Let’s Dance Project: Enriching Lives through Movement and Joy

Are you part of, or do you run a group for older adults and are looking to add some movement, joy, and connection to your weekly routine? We invite you to be part of our exciting Let’s Dance project, a series of weekly movement and dance sessions designed specifically for older individuals.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance physical well-being and immerse yourself in the joy of dance, regardless of mobility level. Led by professional dancers, these sessions are tailored to meet the diverse needs of older adults, offering a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.

Benefits of Joining

  1. Physical Well-being: Regular movement and dance improves flexibility, strength, and balance, contributing to better overall health.
  2. Mental Stimulation: Learning new dance routines keeps the mind sharp and engaged.
  3. Emotional Joy: Dance is a wonderful way to express emotions, relieve stress, and bring happiness.
  4. Community and Connection: These sessions foster a sense of community, helping to combat social isolation and loneliness.

How It Works

Each weekly workshop is co-led by an experienced practitioner and a ‘shadow’ practitioner, ensuring personalised attention and support for all participants. Our sessions cater to various mobility levels, so whether you/your group are fully mobile or require some assistance, there’s a place in our dance circle for all.

Get Involved

We are reaching out to groups of older adults (with fewer than 50 members) to join our Let’s Dance project. If you are part of a group that could benefit from this enriching experience, we would love to hear from you!
