Welcoming Sampad’s New Board Members

We are delighted to announce and welcome, two new appointments to our Board.

Niti Pall will be joining as Chair of Sampad’s Board. She currently chairs the board of Harbr, a London based health tech accelerator and is Senior Digital Health Advisor for AXA Emerging Customers. Niti was recently Medical Director to KPMGs Global Healthcare Practice and she runs a boutique health system consulting firm Health4alladvisory Ltd. Niti sits on the Board of the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital and is immediate past President of IDF Europe.

Her global impact spans from innovative healthcare ventures in Bangladesh to establishing clinics across China, Saudi Arabia, Poland, and Hong Kong. Niti’s dedication to universal healthcare extends to multiple countries, impacting over 11 million consumers with mobile health propositions.

At Harbr, she’s facilitated the growth of diverse companies in drone delivery, digital pathology, COVID-19 testing, and more. Notably, Harbr’s primary care accelerator in the NHS has reached over 600,000 patients. Her expertise in healthcare spans governance, financial management, and a deep interest in and commitment to arts for well-being.

I am really excited to be taking on this role with Sampad, which has been my cultural home since I arrived in the UK. I am hoping to bring the skills I have in different sectors to contribute to Sampad’s growth and to contribute to the arts in my diverse multicultural city.

Niti Pall

Joining Niti as Vice Chair of the Board is Paresh Solanki. Paresh is a fervent advocate for social change, utilising media technology to amplify marginalised voices and uplift communities. His impactful work, marked by creativity and innovation, has earned accolades across broadcasting, events production, and community cohesion efforts. Holding fellowships at the Royal Television Society and The Institute of Leadership & Development, Paresh’s recent projects include filming testimonies on the Ugandan Asians’ expulsion and responses to the COVID crisis in the UK.

Paresh served in pivotal roles at the BBC such as Managing Editor, Editor of Asian programmes, and spearheaded groundbreaking projects like the BBC Mega Mela festival. Post-BBC, he contributed as a Media Expert for the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Programme and served as the Assistant Director at the Inter Faith Network, initiating the National Inter Faith Week.

Engaged across prestigious institutions like BAFTA, the Royal Television Society, the Royal Photographic Society, and the British Psychological Society, he’s been instrumental in judging various awards and contributing to government-led committees.

The arts possess an unparalleled ability to transcend boundaries, fostering unity and unleashing the boundless potential of human creativity, culture, and community harmony. I am profoundly honoured to serve as a trustee of Sampad, an organisation that has consistently delivered exceptional artistic endeavours for the past three decades.

Paresh Solanki

Following their selection at our AGM in November, Paresh and Niti will dive into their roles from the New Year. We’re excited to witness the impact their expertise and passion will have on Sampad.

We are proud to announce the addition of Niti Pall and Paresh Solanki to our Board. Niti’s dedication to healthcare innovation and Paresh’s media advocacy, together with their interest in community empowerment embodies Sampad’s ethos of fostering creativity and cultural unity. We eagerly anticipate the transformative impact their leadership will bring to Sampad.
