Two histories: 1947 Partition and 1971 Liberation.
Four geographies: Colonial India and the British Empire, India and Pakistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, Bangladesh and Britain today.

In The Chronicle of Two Worlds ( দুই দুনিয়ার বৃত্তান্ত ), writer and director Shahman Moishan reimagines Shakespeare’s Hamlet through the lens of South Asian history. Personal stories of displacement converge with Shakespeare’s timeless drama whilst the characters navigate identity in contemporary England – caught between nations, languages and belonging.

This is a search for meaning: a story about memory, art, and what it means to live between two worlds.
